SASO Saleem and SFDA Programme Certification Services from Intertek for Importers in Saudi Arabia
Intertek in Saudi Arabia is accredited by SASO to issue Product Certificate of Conformity and Shipment Certificate of Conformity for the SASO SALEEM programme and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Cosmetics, Perfume, Personal Care and Food products.
Intertek has been providing Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification (ATIC) services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for the past several decades and continues to ensure compliance of products exported to the Kingdom as per the requirements set by the various Saudi Government Bodies/Regulatory Authorities such as Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), KSA Customs, Ministry of Commerce (MoC), and Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA).
Saudi Product Safety Programme (SPSP)
Intertek is approved as a Conformity Assessment Body by SASO for operating the Saudi Product Safety Programme (SPSP) and continues to be authorised to issue the mandatory Certification for exports to Saudi Arabia (also referred to as the SASO SALEEM programme) and continues to be authorised to issue the mandatory Product Certificate of Conformity (P-CoC) and Shipment Certificate of Conformity (S-CoC) Certification for exports of Regulated Products to Saudi Arabia.
Exporting Food or Cosmetics, Perfumes and Personal Care Products?
Intertek has been approved by the SFDA for processing and issuing the Certificate of Conformity for Consignments of Cosmetics, Perfumes and Personal Care Products exported to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on the FASEH platform.
Intertek is also currently approved for issuing the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for Regulated Food Consignments on its own IT platform and is also responsible for uploading the CoC on the FASEH platform.
Importers based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia need to be fully aware of applicable requirements for the import of regulated products. Intertek has a highly experienced and knowledgeable team based in Riyadh who are dedicated to helping importers comply with these requirements and get their good on to the Saudi Arabia market.
