SASO implements Standard 2203:2015 for Plugs and Socket Outlets

Exporting Electrical Products to Saudi Arabia -Standard 2203:2015 applicable.

Further to the information we published in July concerning the postponement of SASO Standard 2203: 2015 whilst a further review was undertaken, we have now been informed by The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO)that, with immediate effect, Standard SASO 2203:2015 must now be fully implemented.

 

The exception to this requirement are Clauses:

which relate to Conductor Cross Sectional Area, Fuses and Temperature Rise Test.

 

In these cases, please refer to the corresponding clauses in SASO 2203:2003 until such time as we inform you of the final revision to SASO 2203:2015
