Temporary Suspension of the Ivory Coast Conformity Assessment Programme known as Verification of Conformity (VoC)
The Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) has announced a temporary suspension of its Conformity Assessment Programme called "Verification of Conformity".
The VoC has been suspended until January 2019 and will re-commence on 2nd January 2019.
During the suspension period of the VoC, exporters are recommended to continue to apply for a Certificate of Conformity voluntarily to assure Ivorian consumers of the quality and safety of their shipments.
Intertek has been awarded a contract by the Government of the Ivory Coast as one of the service providers authorised to carry out this Verification of Conformity and issue the Certificates of Conformity.
