Exporting Food to Egypt - Intertek can now issue Certification for exports from more than 70 countries

The National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) has approved Intertek to certify consignments of the various regulated Food products and Food Contact Materials exported to Egypt from more than 70 Countries of Supply (CoS) under the NFSA Certification Programme.

NFSA has released an updated Whitelist of Regulated Products and approved Countries of Supply on 28th November 2022. The new list now includes more than 30 Food Product Categories and Food Contact Materials exported from 79 Countries of Supply.

Exporters of food products can obtain Certificate of Inspection (CoI) for their shipments for reduced inspections at destination and avoid any Egyptian Customs clearance issues at the Ports/Borders on its arrival.

Intertek is a registered Conformity Assessment Body with NFSA and is authorized to certify regulated food products and food contact materials supplied from specified Countries of Supply.
