CompEx Certification Scheme

Focus on safety competence with CompEx Training and Certification
What is CompEx Certification?
CompEx certification is an internationally recognized competency-based training and assessment program that certifies personnel who work in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as in the hazardous locations, oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries.
The CompEx certification program is designed to provide assurance to employers that individuals who work in potentially explosive environments have the necessary knowledge and skills to do so safely. The certification covers a range of competencies, including electrical and mechanical installations, inspection, maintenance, and repair. The certification process involves a combination of theoretical and practical training, followed by an assessment. The assessment consists of both written and practical exams, and successful candidates receive a certificate that is valid for five years.
CompEx certification is recognized in many countries around the world, including the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. It is considered a leading certification for personnel working in hazardous areas. CompEx training is also mandatory for individuals involved in designing, selecting, installing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment designed for use in hazardous locations, and those managing people in these disciplines.
