The Juvenile Product Manufacturer’s Association (JPMA) provides the certification required to inform consumers that your childcare products meet all sections of ASTM (American Society for Testing of Materials) standards and federal requirements (16 CFR). As an independent quality assurance organization, Intertek has developed comprehensive testing tools to ensure compliance with JPMA protocols.

Intertek assists manufacturers seeking JPMA Certification Seal through product simulations and extensive performance testing. With data-driven expertise in the juvenile products industry, our scientific models help identify potential hazards before your product goes to market – protecting both your brand and loyal consumers.

The JPMA currently sponsors 30 certification programs for juvenile and nursery products such as cribs, strollers, high chairs, and more. As a national trade organization, it represents 95 percent of the prenatal to preschool market in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
