As an Association for Contract Textiles (ACT) Industry Partner, Intertek offers testing solutions to ensure textiles used in commercial interiors meet the established ACT Voluntary Performance Guidelines.

Textiles and fabrics used in commercial interior installations like office suites, retail outlets, hotels and medical offices, need to comply with safety standards like flammability, but also benefit from testing to verify durability and performance properties. By performance testing your commercial interior fabrics to verify durability, you demonstrate to buyers that your products will stand the test of time.

Intertek can assist ACT members with fabric testing to demonstrate compliance with ACT’s Voluntary Performance Guidelines in order to display ACT’s certification marks on your products. ACT’s standards and industry test methods are detailed below.
