Underwater remote operated vehicles (ROV) for safe and effective inspection in ports & industry, offshore wind and offshore oil & gas sectors.
Utilizing underwater Remote Operated Vehicles, commonly known as ROVs, is a safe and cost-effective way to efficiently inspect and assess underwater infrastructure and assets that are not easily accessible by other means. Areas that are prone to limited visibility and potentially tight spaces are ideal for ROVs as these specialized underwater vehicles use high resolution optical and sonar sensors and dynamic positioning equipment to enhance visual acuity and operational maneuverability.
Whether you are planning a new infrastructure project, expanding an existing asset or assessing an existing installation to ensure optimal operability and integrity, Intertek’s underwater ROV technology, part of our Advanced Unmanned Robotics Services (AURS) offering, is delivered worldwide by our team of expert technical personnel and provides the data and visibility you need to make critical decisions that help minimize safety risks and ensure success.
Intertek’s AURS underwater integrity inspection ROV services focus on ports, industry and offshore wind and offshore oil & gas assets. At any of these locations, our ROV technology is able to provide ultrahigh-resolution underwater visual, video, photo and NDT inspection results validating integrity, corrosion condition and seabed clearance certification. Intertek’s AURS team uses rapid deployable, state-of-the-art ROV’s with advanced navigation, DP capabilities, 3D stereo imaging systems, mechanical cleaning systems and subsea NDT systems.
