ISO Insights: ISO 45001 Migration

Episode #7

ISO Insights: ISO 45001 Migration with Jeffrey Eves, Global Green Services Program Manager

During this week's episode of Assurance in Action, OHSMS Expert Jeffrey Eves discusses the new ISO 45001 standard and the impending migration processes, as well as the benefits of the standard. Jeffrey is responsible for managing sustainability auditing and verification services for Green Service programs including ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS), ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems (EnMS) and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety (OHSAS) accredited certification programs, sustainability assessment services, greenhouse gas (GHG) verification services, and various environmental and safety related second–party and supplier/vendor auditing services.

ISO 45001:2018 was officially published in March of 2018 and will replace OHSAS 18001:2007 as the industry standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. ISO 45001 offers a systematic approach that allows organizations to look beyond immediate health and safety issues and consider the wider societal impact of their activities.
