Hydraulic Composite Compression Fixture Testing

Intertek offers Hydraulic Composite Compression Fixture (HCCF) testing to the composite industry.

The HCCF is widely accepted in Europe and is quickly becoming top-of-mind across US and Canada for compression testing of Carbon Fiber Reinforced and Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Matrix Composites.

HCCF reduces compression test set up variants:

• Eliminates flexure for a more constant deformation rate
• Uniformly applied gripping force for dependable and reproducible specimen gripping
• Minimized frictional forces

The HCCF fixture is standard for testing to ISO 14126 and is a modified fixture for ASTM D6641 and ASTM D3410.
