Infographic: UL/CSA 60335-2-89 Path to Certification

Manufacturers of commercial refrigeration products have choices leading up to September 29, 2024 to either continue with certification or update to UL/CSA 60335-2-89. If a manufacturer chooses to update, Intertek will review the existing certification and perform the necessary evaluation and tests for certification to the latest published UL/CSA 60335-2-89 standard. If, however, a manufacturer wishes to continue a products certification to UL 471, UL 427, UL 412, CSA C22.2 #120 or UL 1995/CSA C22.2 #236 there are some important certification requirements to consider.
