The Challenge:

Under the new standard, certain physical and mechanical requirements are modified to align with ISO 8124 Part 1 and EN71 Part 1. The flammability requirements are identical to ISO 8124 Part 2, while the chemical requirements remained unchanged as per ST2002 (11th edition).

The Solution:

Intertek Hong Kong is approved by the JTA as a ST Overseas Approved Testing Laboratory.  and is also a foreign official laboratory designated by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare qualified to perform an extensive range of services for the Japan Food Sanitation Law.

Reports issued by Intertek Hong Kong are accepted by the Japanese Customs, quarantine stations in Japan, as well as designated testing bodies approved by JTA.
