Certification Required: Required for the NALFA Certification Seal

Scope: Per ANSI/NALFA LF-01 Section 3.11: "A condition of compliance to LF-01 is that the laminate manufacturer shall provide documentation to demonstrate compliance of their laminate flooring to applicable Federal and State regulations pertaining to residual formaldehyde content."

Applicable Products: Laminate flooring

Test Procedure: Certification is performed by an accredited certification organization that can provide supporting documentation that the laminate flooring product meets government formaldehyde emission standards. Once the supplier provides verification, no additional testing is required.

End Result: This test results in authenticated verification that the laminate flooring product meets formaldehyde emission standards.
