Through Intertek Academy, we aim to ensure everyone understands what’s required to prepare for your CSRD submission.

On 5th January 2023, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) entered into force. This new directive modernizes and strengthens the rules concerning the social and environmental information that companies need to report. A broader set of large companies, as well as listed SMEs, will now be required to report on sustainability. Intertek’s CSRD-related course will help you understand the implications that the CSRD will have on your business, as well as assess your stakeholders, dive into the mandatory disclosure requirements and getting ready for submission.

Courses will cover a range of topics including:

  • Benchmark against existing reporting standards
  • What the ESRS and CSRD mean for the relevance of the GRI Standards
  • Mandatory ESRS reporting requirements
  • Understanding the involvement of existing parties and standards involved, including ESRS, GRI, EFRAG, NFRD, SASB, ISSB, and others
  • Materiality: double materiality (ESRS), impact materiality (GRI), financial materiality (ISSB) – How all these fit together?
  • CSRD beyond the EU landscape
