Intertek invited to the Bharat Electricity POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week 2025

This year’s Bharat Electricity POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week 2025, taking place from September 2nd to 4th, at Yashobhoomi – IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi. Intertek Technical Director of Power Generation, Anjan Kumar Sinha, known for his leadership and rich experience, has been invited and will host as a Moderator during the Leadership Panel 4A, “Plant Flexibilisation: Adapting Coal & Gas Fleets for RE-Rich Grids,” scheduled for September 4, 2025. The session will convene select thought leaders and sector champions to explore long-term priorities for a secure, sustainable, and future-ready energy landscape. His insight as a leader of the sector will add tremendous value to the conversation, inspire the wider ecosystem, and facilitate shaping India’s energy future.
Mr. Anjan Sinha is a power plant specialist with 32 years of industry experience, namely in operation, maintenance, commissioning, and R&M of large thermal power plants. He has prepared concept papers on power sector reforms and evaluated studies of international consultants on policy and regulatory options. Mr. Sinha's pioneering work on flexible operation of thermal power plants in India includes his publication “The Recipe Book for Flexibilization of Coal-Based Power Plants”.
