eSignature Customer Reference

As a trusted third-party testing and certification provider to global brands and retailers, it is imperative to verify the authenticity of our test reports. In addition, the global nature of our customers’ business requires speed and efficiency in the documentation process. As a result, Intertek uses an eSignature platform to apply digital signatures which verify the integrity of documents such as test reports.

Intertek uses a digital signature solution by a leading certificate provider to apply digital signatures that allow authenticity verification of test reports. Once a digital signature is applied to a PDF file, any changes made to the file are logged ensuring that only the original Intertek-published file will reflect a valid signature. This process is done by digital encryption to ensure that the digital signature is in fact valid and the report was signed by the person whose signature appears on the document.
