With the growing focus on sustainability, there has been a renewed focus on Circular Economy, and in particular, use of and requirements pertaining to recycled content. In this webinar we will discuss the regulations and standards as they pertain to recycled content declarations. Our expert(s) will share insights from working with numerous clients on recycled content, look at some different third party schemes and also clarify some common misconceptions, when it comes to making claims about recycled content.

Corrections/Retractions: During the webinar (Circular Economy: Bringing Clarity to Recycled Content) delivered at 10 AM EDST on August 12, our speaker, Wesley Chen, had made a statement about The Textile Exchange’s Recycled Content Programs that we have since confirmed was in err.

  • On slide16 and the voice over states that the Textile Exchange Program (and other programs) are unaccredited – we would like to issue a correction that it (The Textile Exchange’s Recycled Content Programs) is a program that IS an accreditable program by an independent Accreditation Body (ex: ANAB, UKAS, CNAS, etc…), as of August 13, 2025.
  • On slide 16 and the voice over, it is stated that EN 15343 is the ONLY accredited recycled content program, we are retracting this statement as the Textile Exchange is also an accredited program.
  • There were other programs that were stated on the slide which were not confirmed to be Accredited at the time of presentation, however, in the abundance of caution, these also have been removed from the power point and subsequent presentations.
  • There may be additional locations during the voice over where this comes up around the Textile Exchange and others being accredited programs; please disregard those statements.

We apologize for the error and did not intend to imply that there was any lack of rigor or credibility in these programs, nor to do any harm to these programs.
