Intertek awards ISO 22000 Food Safety certification to Dubai World Trade Centre

(Dubai, UAE) – Intertek, a Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, is pleased to announce that it has awarded the ISO 22000 certificate to Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) for their Food Safety Management System.
Intertek granted the ISO 22000 certification to DWTC following a series of thorough audits over a period of six months.
The ISO 22000 standard sets out the requirements for a food safety management system and offers a framework for management commitment, interactive communication, the implementation of pre-requisite programmes and the continual improvement of the system.
The certification provides DWTC with a systemic approach to ensure its hospitality business possesses the ability to control food safety hazards across its supply chain and reinforces its commitment to customer satisfaction.
