Intertek showcases “Zero Waste to Landfill” Solution at Waste & Recycling Summit 2019 in Dubai

The three-day event, which focused on waste management and recycling services, was organised as part of the Facilities Management Expo in Dubai, UAE. It was attended by experts and industry professionals from across diverse facilities management disciplines.

Intertek expert, Samir Ahmed, Director of Business Assurance for the Gulf and Pakistan region, presented the “Zero Waste to Landfill” concept and sustainable practices for waste management and waste diversion. Responsible and clean manufacturing has become increasingly important for customers, regulators and other stakeholders. Organisations around the world have begun taking the necessary steps to reduce the amount of waste deposited into landfill sites each year.
