Intertek Expands Materials Science Laboratory Capabilities in Australia

(West Footscray, Victoria) Intertek, the leading quality solutions provider to industries worldwide, has expanded commercial materials and surface analysis laboratory capabilities in Australia with the addition of a Scanning Electron Microscope with Energy Dispersive X-ray Analyser (SEM-EDXA). The SEM-EDXA, located at Intertek’s PROBE laboratory, is available for clients in Australasia and globally.
Intertek are able to analyse a range of samples from diverse customers and industries, including the pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, chemicals, materials, and more. SEM-EDXA provides crucial data important for troubleshooting, R&D, forensic analysis, and quality control. SEM-EDXA also provides particle size analysis and 3D imagining, with the ability to magnify images to sub-micron levels, or 200,000 times at high resolution.
