Tradegood takes top China suppliers to London for the latest fashion trends and branding skills from Trendstop
17 Oct 2013
London and Hong Kong, Oct 16, 2013 - Tradegood, the B2B sourcing community enabled by Intertek that connects responsible buyers with trusted suppliers, next month brings a delegation of China suppliers to London, one of the great fashion capitals of the world, to give delegates a thorough understanding of European fashion retailing from branding to buying.
From November 18 to 22, the five-day Fashion Tour will provide the manufacturers with the necessary market insights to take forward their own brand strategy, giving them first-hand experience of how successful brands in the UK and Europe promote themselves to their customers and suppliers. The professional branding skills and strategies training will be provided by Trendstop.com, the Tradegood partner headquartered in London and specialising in fashion-trend forecasting.
The intensive training program will consist of classroom training in the basics of branding, the challenges of creating a brand, and the specific tools needed to kick-start and implement a brand strategy. Case studies, group discussions and one-on-one sessions will be used, in addition to traditional classroom training, to facilitate two-way learning. The exciting agenda also includes the opportunity for the delegates to visit the headquarters of a premium UK fashion brand and a fast-fashion brand to learn about the companies and what they have planned for the future.
From early this year, Tradegood and Trendstop.com have been working together on a range of innovative services to help manufacturers worldwide improve their products in the eyes of the global buying community. These include subscription to trendstop.com, trend-master training classes, expert ODM-design and product-review services.
Trendstop.com founder Jaana Jätyri comments, "We are delighted to be partnering with Tradegood to help manufacturers improve their trend understanding and trend-product offerings to better serve buyers worldwide." Jätyri adds, "In an extremely competitive market, it is essential for suppliers to improve their trend-translation skills to a level closer to what today's trend-aware consumer will be looking for."
In addition to the branding workshop, Tradegood is also organizing a workshop in London on Nov 20 for a more in-depth introduction to Tradegood for the buyer community in the UK. In addition, the first UK buyer summit will be held on Nov 22. Buyers attending the event can meet in person with our top China delegates who will have just gone through the value-added training in branding and fashion trends.
