ArcelorMittal Mining selects Intertek for consulting & training programme

Intertek Consulting & Training (Intertek C&T) has been selected to design, develop and implement a transformational culture journey within ArcelorMittal’s Mining (AMM) division as part of their commitment to ensuring its employees have a clear picture of what success looks like, as AMM believes this must drive their daily actions. Their journey fundamentally embraces both leadership and safety principles as essential elements of behaviour among all AMM employees.
Together, Intertek C&T and AMM will roll-out customized training (Courageous Leadership) to the entire organization to clearly communicate and allow employees to experience its picture of success as it aligns with its Vision and Values. This demonstrates AMM’s commitment to lay the foundation for focus on long term success while reminding each employee of their daily responsibilities as Courageous Leaders. In addition to the training, Intertek C&T and AMM will collaborate to set clearly defined safety behaviour indicators to allowing AMM to create sustainability and continuously improve. Currently, local onsite Courageous Leadership training is being conducted and involves more than 4,000 employees in North and South America.
