The market for refurbished or reconditioned electrical equipment is growing quickly. Regulation is now catching up. A recent change to the National Electric Code in the U.S. (NFPA 70-2020) now requires that the original listing mark be removed from any electrical device that has been reconditioned, and a new marking be applied that clearly indicates the reconditioned or refurbished status.
