Case Study: Curing Epoxy Resin Using IR-Spectroscopy
This case study focuses on deconvolution of infrared spectra from resin cure using Iterative Target Transformation Factor Analysis (ITTFA), which is useful for tracking chemical reactions where intermediate products are too short-lived or unstable to be isolated to obtain “pure” spectra. This computational method can also help to identify if there are multiple intermediates or final products using just the spectra obtained during the reaction.
