China Market Update: Updated Textile, Footwear Products & Hardgoods Standard List 2023

Recently, the standardization administration of the People’s Republic of China released announcement No.1 & No. 2 of 2023, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China released announcement No. 7 of 2023 to publish standards updates.
There are updated textile, footwear products standards and method standards, including GB/T 8878—2023 “Knitted underwear,” QB/T 1193-2023 “Down & Feather quilt,” GB/T 21655.1—2023 “Textiles – Evaluation of absorption and quick-drying – Part 1: Method for combination tests,” QB/T 2925-2023 “Fur – Test methods for color fastness to light,” QB/T 1653-2023 “PVC plastic sandals and slippers,” etc., as well as new standards for hardgoods such as GB/T 42806-2023 “Juvenile products – General requirements for tableware and feeding utensils,” QB/T 5866-2023 “Bed Rail for infant,” QB/T 5868-2023 “Test methods for stability, strength, and durability of child seats,” etc.
