EU – Updated Harmonised Standard for Trampolines

The European Commission has published Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1254 to update the reference to the harmonised standard for trampolines under the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC.
With immediate effect, EN 71-14:2018 Safety of Toys - Part 14: Trampolines for domestic use shall be listed as a harmonised standard. The previous version, EN 71-14:2014+A1:2017, shall be withdrawn from 22 January 2020, to allow sufficient time for manufacturers to adapt their products to the revised specifications.
