Intertek operates a new petroleum testing laboratory facility serving the Cushing crude oil storage and distribution complex in Oklahoma. Supporting Cushing area crude oil quality needs, Intertek provides a wide range of petroleum related testing, inspection and calibration technical services are provided to oil and gas customers.
Cushing lab test methods include CME/NYMEX Quality Parameters and the recommended NYMEX Additional Quality Parameters (COQA).
Intertek Cushing technical expertise and services include the testing and inspection of crude oil and residual fuels, sampling of tanks and pipelines, tank inventories, tank calibration and strapping, metering, measurement, calibration, API 653 tank condition inspection, CPW (certified public weld) inspection; and sample expediting and shipping (per DOT and IATA Regulations). The Cushing facility also provides residual fuels testing support to the nearby Port of Catoosa, Oklahoma. Intertek assists implementing programs to coordinate sample collection and shipment, and a full range of analytical services.
