Intertek crude oil testing laboratories test crude oil feedstocks to NYMEX and CME quality parameters. The petroleum labs test to the "Recommended NYMEX  Quality Parameters", as proposed by the Crude Oil Quality Association (COQA), and many other crude oil tests and analytical techniques. Crude oil testing through Intertek's global petroleum laboratory network includes a dedicated petroleum laboratory in Cushing, Oklahoma.

  • Pour Point, ASTM D97
  • Sulfur Content, ASTM D4294
  • Vapor Pressure, Mini-method, ASTM D5191
  • Viscosity, Kinematic, Various Temperatures, ASTM D445

  • Total Acid Number (TAN), ASTM D664
  • Distillation (High Temperature Simulated Distillation, HTSD), ASTM D7169
  • Metals Analysis by ICP (Ni, Fe, V)
