Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons Analysis (PAH) of Fuels, Distillates and Feedstocks.

Intertek laboratories test fuels, middle distillates, heavy fuel oil, residues and other refined hydrocarbons for determination of aromatic content and polynuclear aromatic content. Select Intertek laboratories test polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) samples using various techniques, including supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), liquid chromatography (LC) and Heavy Distillates Analyzer (HDA).

PAHs Analytical Techniques include:

• ASTM D5186, Determination of the Aromatic Content and Polynuclear Aromatics Content
• Aromatic Content of Diesel Fuels and Aviation Turbine Fuels by Supercritical Fluid Chromatography
• Aromatic branch chain analysis of residual fuels, VGOs, etc. boiling above 650 F, by Heavy Distillates Analyzer
