Update to SFDA Annex II - List of Substances Prohibited in Cosmetic Products

Manufacturers and Exporters of Cosmetic and Perfumery products to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are hereby informed that SFDA has issued circular number 6391  concerning the following updates related to SFDA Annex II - List of Substances Prohibited in Cosmetic Products: 

  • Numerous potentially carcinogenic substances have been added to SFDA Annex II - List of Substances Prohibited in Cosmetic Products after review of reports issued by European Chemicals Agency (ECA).

  • The revised SFDA Annex II - List of Substances Prohibited in Cosmetic Products will be enforced from 1st January 2024
