Updates on China New Chemical Substances Registration (MEE Order No. 12)

The Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (Order No. 12 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the P. R. China) was released in April 2020 and has been effective from January 1, 2021. It has replaced the 10-year-old ‘Measures on the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substance’ (MEP Order No.7) from the effective date and become a brand-new management standard for new chemical substances in China.

Order No.12 has made a lot of revised points in terms of registration types, data sources, and registration requirements, etc. which poses a huge challenge to Chinese manufacturers or importers. In this webinar, our expert will fully explain the new requirements of Order No. 12. Hope to bring some useful information to the companies concerned.
