Impact Statement: A review of all Listing Reports is necessary to determine which products comply with new/revised requirements and which products will require re-evaluation. NOTE: Effective immediately, this revised standard will be exclusively used for evaluation of new products unless the Applicant requests in writing that current requirements be used along with their understanding that their listings will be withdrawn on Effective Date noted above, unless the product is found to comply with new/revised requirements.

If the applicable requirements noted in the table are not described in your report(s), these requirements will need to be confirmed as met and added to your report(s) such as markings, instructions, test results, etc. (as required).
Schedule: So that shipping of products with Listing Marks will not be interrupted, an approximate schedule has been established to ensure Listing Reports are found compliant by Effective Date:
Fees: An initial review of Listing Report (s) will be covered by a direct billing project and will be invoiced at not more than $1000 per report.

Information – To assist our Engineer with review of your Listing Reports, please submit technical information in response to the new/revised paragraphs noted in the attached or explain why these new/revised requirements do not apply to your product (s).
Current Listings Not Active? – Please immediately identify any current Listing Reports or products that are no longer active and should be removed from our records. We will do this at no charge as long as Intertek is notified in writing prior to the review of your reports.

Panelboards with provisions for only a single service disconnect shall be constructed such that, with the service disconnect in the off position, no ungrounded uninsulated live part is exposed to inadvertent contact by persons while servicing any field connected load terminal, including a neutral load terminal, a branch circuit equipment grounding terminal, or the neutral disconnect link. Exposure to inadvertent contact is determined by use of the probe illustrated in Figure 5.1.

All conductors of an alternating-current circuit that pass through a wall or partition of metal having magnetic properties, including the neutral, shall be run through the same opening.
Exception: Internal wiring of panelboards subjected to the Temperature Test, Section 19, with temperatures recorded in the area of the metal wall or partition to determine compliance with Table 19.1, are not required to include all conductors in the same opening.

With reference to the requirement in 10.1.11, and to Figure 10.1, the conductors may pass through individual openings in a wall or partition if the openings are connected by slots cut in the metal wall. The conductors may be run through individual openings in an insulating block used to cover an opening in the metal wall sufficiently large for all the conductors of the circuit if no metal bracket, brace, or the like, is placed across the insulating material between the conductors.

Panelboard with provisions for cord connections
|32.17.1||Panelboards provided with single pole separable connectors that are not mechanically interlocked shall be marked to indicate that connections to the inlets are to be made by qualified personnel only.|
|32.17.2||Panelboards provided with single pole separable connectors (input or output connections) that are not mechanically interlocked shall be marked to indicate the proper order of connection and disconnection. This marking shall read as follows:|

Plug connection should be in the following order;
1) Equipment grounding conductor connectors;
2) Grounded circuit conductor connectors; and
3) Ungrounded conductor connectors.
Disconnection should be in the reverse order.
