Intertek approved by the Basque Government in Spain to perform Occupational Risk Prevention Audits

Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, has been approved by the Basque Government in Spain, to perform legal audits on occupational risk prevention (PRL) systems.
PRL Legal Audits comply with Spanish Law 31/1995 for Occupational Risk Prevention and the Spanish Royal Decree 39/1997, aimed at helping companies to establish effective actions to prevent occupational accidents and illnesses, as well as to adopt adequate measures to reduce risks inherent in the working environment.
PRL Legal Audits are designed for Spanish businesses which want to develop preventive activities with their own or external resources as well as organisations that voluntarily wish to obtain an external assessment of their prevention system so they can may optimize it.

The ISO 45001 standard replaced the popular OHSAS 18001 standard, with the overall purpose remaining the improvement of occupational health and safety performance. ISO 45001 easily integrates with other ISO Management Systems standards including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
