The UK National Business Awards celebrate outstanding business achievement across public and private sector organisations and are held annually, judged by a panel of top UK business leaders. Intertek was chosen from among leading FTSE 100 businesses Capita, Experian, Legal and General and Sainsbury's, all competing for the prestigious Business of the Year 2012 title. Intertek was described by judges as having "exceptional leadership, customer focus, staff engagement and innovation."
