Reverie® Selects Intertek for Quality and Performance Certification

Grand Rapid, MI – Intertek (LSE: ITRK) a leading international provider of testing, inspection and certification services, today announced that Reverie® received the Intertek Quality & Performance Mark (QPM) for its Reverie Dream Mattress line which exceeded industry standards for quality, durability and performance.
Reverie wanted to guarantee the highest quality of satisfaction for its own customers as it began preparation for the official launch of the “Dream” mattress line. Quality and performance testing, along with surpassing industry standards, was required in order for this new product to be placed on the market. Following a process proof-of-success with a short list of independent laboratories, Reverie selected Intertek to perform the testing and certification for the “Dream” line. More specifically, Intertek performed a technical evaluation of the quality of the mattress. The QPM was given to the Dream mattress because it met rigorous durability, functionality and workmanship requirements. In addition to obtaining the QPM, Reverie passed a battery of fire safety tests at Intertek laboratories.
“The unique patented air flow design of the Reverie Dream is what allowed us to become the first brand in the industry to achieve this QPM gold standard,” said Jack Eppolito, Reverie’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our design was able to pass the wide range of strict testing Intertek put us through. We believe the QPM Certification validates our technology and will instill confidence in consumers when they see the Intertek label on our Dream beds.”
The Reverie Dream Mattress is designed to be an integral part of the Reverie Sleep System. Each sleep system is customized to include Reverie's Zero Gravity Adjustable Bed with their patented wave massage feature, and pillows made with Reverie's proprietary natural rubber material.
