Intertek Opens New Laboratory in Thailand

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions serving a wide range of industries around the world, has opened a new laboratory in the Map Ta Phut area of Thailand, southeast of Bangkok. The 1,200 square metres laboratory and office are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and provide petroleum, gas, biofuels, minerals and environmental testing to clients in Thailand and Asia Pacific region.
With a strategic deepwater port, Map Ta Phut is an important region in Thailand for industry and petrochemical, petroleum refinery, exploration & production, and natural gas activities. The new laboratory provides analytical support for clients requiring testing of chemicals, refined products, crude oil, natural gas, biofuels, marine oil, minerals, coal and related chemical analysis and environmental monitoring.
