Medical and Aerospace Expert Joins Intertek

Intertek, the leading provider of quality and safety solutions to a wide range of industries globally, is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Thomas Svoboda to Intertek’s global health and environmental specialist teams where he will implement and develop consulting support programs for the Healthcare and Aerospace industries.
Mr. Svoboda joins Intertek following 11 years of employment with General Electric (GE) working for their Healthcare business. Prior to GE Healthcare, Mr. Svoboda spent 15 years with Lockheed Martin. During his tenure with GE Healthcare, Tom led the environmental program working to bring 2,200 products and 150,000 purchased parts into compliance with existing and emerging environmental and restricted substances regulations. He also served as a supply-chain globalization leader and systems engineer while with GE. His experience in these fields will be instrumental to many Intertek customers.
