Intertek offers a wide range of REACH services to help manufacturers identify their REACH SVHC responsibilities as well as to develop and implement their REACH strategies for compliance. The REACH SVHC product assessment and strategy guide service helps clients determine the classification of their products under definitions provided for in the REACH Regulations as Substances, Preparations or Articles and create a strategy that is purely based on the client’s specific responsibilities to the REACH Regulation. In addition, Intertek offers SVHC testing services for clients unsure of the presence or amount of SVHC substances in their products, the preparation the SVHC disclosure forms and the provision of standard and custom lists of SVHC chemicals.

“REACH is a very complex regulation that leads many businesses to spend money and valuable time investigating aspects of the Regulation that ultimately have minimal impact on the Client’s business,” notes Bruce Calder, General Manager of Intertek Ageus Solutions. “Intertek will provide the expertise to perform a detailed analysis on Client’s business and products. This will identify all immediate actions to be taken to help ensure uninterrupted business in the European Union.”
