Before December 1, 2008, non-EU producers will have to decide between four choices for REACH pre-registration which will have a vast impact on their future position and ability to sell products in the European marketplace:
- Pre-register their products through an importer
- Pre-register their products through an Only Representative
- Request that pre-registration be performed by upstream suppliers
- Terminate sales of their products to the EU.
