Bringing together business networks and stakeholders, the China Center for Labour and Environmental Law is designed to promote innovation and facilitate exchange of experience and practice in existing CSR practices and tools. The Center is a multi-stakeholder community for business networks and stakeholders committed to the practice of sustainable development. The Center’s aim is to provide seamless access to high quality, web-based resources for participating organizations working on social and environmental sustainable development in China. In collaboration with other institutions, the Center will contribute to the recent growth in social and environmental development among small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) within the region by providing access to information, tools and practices that support improved CSR knowledge and enhanced local effectiveness. Representatives from the Center, along with collaborative industry partners, will provide greater insight into the Center's knowledge, programs and initiatives during the upcoming 2007 Ethical Sourcing Forum North America to be held in Philadelphia, USA on April 19 and 20, 2007.
