Managing Analytical Data Requirements for Compliance
The European Union’s REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemical Substances – EC1907/2006) is mandatory for the continued sale of chemicals and products into the European Union. The next deadline is June 1, 2018 for registration of phase-in substances >1 tonne/annum.
The ECHA guidelines state that registrants should collect sufficient analytical data to confirm the structure of their substance and to use suitable methods to verify composition and purity to ensure compliance to the upcoming 2018 deadline.
