British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standards is a leading safety and quality certification programme, used by over 23,000 suppliers in 123 countries and issued through a worldwide network of accredited certification bodies.

Intertek is a fully accredited certification body authorised to carry out food safety audits and award BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification, including the new BRC Food Safety Culture Excellence module, as well as BRC/IoP Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials and the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution. 

The FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certification provides a framework for effectively managing food safety and quality responsibilities. FSSC 22000 demonstrates a company has a robust and effective food safety management system (FSMS) in place to meet the requirements of regulators, food business clients and consumers.

As an associated certification body, we are qualified to award FSSC 22000 certificates and our experts can support you through the entire process.

Safe Quality Food (SQF) provides certification for all sectors of the food industry, from primary production and manufacturing, to distribution, packaging and wholesale. SQF is recognised by retailers and food service providers worldwide and certification to levels two and three is fully approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
