BRC IoP Global Standard
BRC GS PPM is an internationally recognised standard that sets out the requirements for the manufacture of packaging and packaging materials used in food packaging and filling operations and for cosmetics, toiletries and other consumer products and materials.

Intertek is accredited by UKAS to carry out audits against the Standard for paper, plastics and metal packaging. We can also provide specialized training such as:
- Implementing the BRC GS PPM. This is a 2 day course.
- Auditing against the BRC GS PPM. This is a 3 day course.
Intertek is a fully UK accredited certification body, authorised to carry out audits and award BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification Food Safety System Certification (FS22000), Consumer Products, and the IoP Packaging Standard, etc. The BRC Standard demands high levels of compliance and the certification programme is wide ranging, including food safety planning, site and process controls, and gaining management on product quality and integrity.
