Overview
Do you sell textile goods in the UK? Are you a supplier to a UK textile products retailer? If so, by now you will have a pretty good grasp of the legislation that applies, whether it’s a national UK law, or a requirement of the European Union (and if you don’t, please come to our Legislation Seminar).
But the expansion of the global marketplace is seeing many UK retailers looking to open stores in other European countries and all points east and west. So just when you thought you could relax because all your legislative requirements were covered……think again. What do you know about fl ammability requirements in France or Canada? Can you have formaldehyde on a product in the Netherlands? Did you know that care labelling is mandatory for the USA? Ever heard of the mandatory China GB requirements? This seminar will give you a fl avour of what legislation exists in other countries.
