Overview
This seminar is designed to assist you in understanding the complexity of current legislation relating to safety of children’s clothing and how it links to General Product Safety.

Upon completion of the seminar, you should have an increased knowledge of how to interpret the guidelines of current standards and directives relating to children’s products, and of some associated reference standards which may be used to demonstrate safety of clothing.

This seminar includes detailed discussion on BS EN 14682 (cords and drawstrings including the UK Hood Cord Regulations). It also covers BS 7907 ‘Code of Practice for the Design and Manufacture of Children’s Clothing to Promote Mechanical Safety’.

The seminar is suitable for designers, technologist, buyers and managers, and will help you understand your own company’s obligation with Product Safety and Children’s Clothing.
