Linear thermal expansion analysis determines material expansion rates.

Linear Thermal Expansion (LTE) testing helps determine if failure by thermal stress may occur in products and materials. Intertek laboratories provide LTE analysis by Thermomechanical Analysis (TMA) and by Dilatometer.

Linear Thermal Expansion measurements help clients understand the expansion and contraction characteristics of two materials in contact, which may be critical for application success.
