Minerals Centre of Excellence
What it is: Our new Minerals Global Centre of Excellence, located in Perth, Western Australia, is a key global centre for the minerals and mining industry. It is the largest and most technologically advanced Intertek Minerals laboratory in the world, and consolidates the Perth operations into a 20,000m2, multi-service facility. With more than 500 Intertek colleagues, powered by the latest pioneering technology, it delivers a broad range of Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification ('ATIC') services to the industry.

Responsibly sourced minerals today will form the building blocks of a cleaner, greener, more sustainable tomorrow. Our new facility was established to support customers across the minerals supply chain by providing innovative and sustainable solutions.
With the expansion of our laboratories, increased instrumentation and new robotic automated systems, we now have the capability to analyse over 2.5 million samples for our customers per year.
