Kerry Howse, B.Sc., Senior Scientific and Regulatory Consultant, Food and Nutrition Group
Ms. Howse has been a part of the Intertek Scientific & Regulatory Consultancy (formerly Cantox) team since 2005. Some of her areas of responsibility include critical review and interpretation of scientific literature and preparation of toxicological reports for various projects. Ms. Howse also completes reviews and evaluations of nonclinical and clinical data and technical reports for scientific validity and compliance with the requirements of North American and European regulatory agencies. Ms. Howse is involved in the preparation of technical submissions to regulatory authorities. She completes assessments of dietary food ingredient exposures using the SAS data system in combination with North American and European food intake databases. She has played a key role in several successful notifications or applications evaluated by regulatory authorities in the United States and European Union.
Ms. Howse received her B.Sc. with honours from the University of Western Ontario. Ms. Howse has published papers in peer-reviewed journals on the topics relating to toxicology.
