Due to ongoing expansion we have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in Royston, as a Stability Coordinator. Job Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating stability operation activities to ensure it is operating at all times in a cGMP compliant manner. 

In addition the Stability Co-ordinator will:

Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the stability area.

Be expected to perform routine and ad-hoc stability pulls as required.

Be required to inform Operations of scheduled pull dates and liaise with the Stability Manager or Operations Manager regarding both updates to existing stability studies and the initiation of new stability projects.

Be required to manage the hard copy and electronic stability records pertaining to all stability studies stored at Melbourn Scientific.

Be expected to perform all tasks according to GMP or the relevant regulatory requirements.

Be responsible for the upkeep of the electronic stability diary.

Be responsible for writing the overall stability protocols and the individual stability project plans for each timepoint.

Be responsible for organising and sending samples stored on stability for external testing, e.g. micro testing.

Any other duties as required by the stability manager.


The Stability Co-ordinator will discuss stability studies with the Stability Manager.

The Stability Co-ordinator may be called upon to act as supervisor for other members of the stability team. 

The Stability Co-ordinator will work under general supervision of the Stability Manager and will be in contact with their supervisor on a regular basis.

Organisation of Work

The Stability Co-ordinator will be required to organise routine workload for themselves.  


The Stability Co-ordinator will be required to communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the Company. This requires the individual to be an effective communicator with staff at all levels.

Health and Safety

The individual should conduct themselves within the company in a safe manner with due care to the health and safety of themselves and colleagues.

Additional information

Intertek Melbourn operates on a standard 37.5 hour week.

Job Qualifications

Required skills and experience

•Good IT literacy skills (MicroSoft Office) 

Must have program management skills and scheduling abilities

Able to develop and implement efficient functional systems

•Previous laboratory experience 

•Keen interest in stability studies
