Intertek is the only international fuel testing company to offer ASTM D-909 Supercharge aviation gasoline fuel testing in three locations around the world. Supercharge octane engines in the USA, UK and The Netherlands, Intertek provide rapid testing for aviation gasolines. Samples are easily packaged and shipped to the labs on a global basis.
The ASTM D-909 test provides supercharge ratings of spark-ignition aviation gasolines. Supercharge testing can be a requirement for Avgas quality. The D-909 test is designed to measue fuel performance under severe conditions in higher performance engines. The newest Supercharge engine is located in the Intertek Chicago, Illinois USA petroleum laboratory, The Intertek Chicago laboratory operates one of the few independent Super-Charge Octane performance test engines in the world for ASTM D-909.
